Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold in the team competitions as well as the floor exercise. For the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. She was the first American to win the most Olympic medals. In 2016, the Olympics saw her win the gold medal in the team event, earning both she and Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. Her silver medals came in the individual floor and all-around event. After the 2002 Olympics she was off for three years from gymnastics. Also, she was a among the gold-winning American squads at the two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began at the age of two and her most favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly contributes her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She hopes to build a career in fashion. It is also her dream to expand her line of leotards as well as her socks. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
